Kadhja Bonet, A Poetic Voice Like No Other

The amazing Kadhja Bonet sounds like the voices of the past singing from the mind's eye of the future. Her lush arrangements and songwriting show her unique ability to craft beautiful music that perfectly compliments her calming vibrant voice. Kadhja, pronounced like "Kod-Ya" brings the elegance and musicianship of yester-year front and center on her latest album The Visitor. On "Gramma Honey" Kadhja Bonet perfectly showcases a moody patience that reaps rewards as the song weaves to it's climax.

The Classic Album Kid A

Radiohead's Kid A from 2000 dropped from another dimension sonically. Radiohead tapped into electronica, minimalism, and experimental jazz with such ease its hard to believe it's over ten years old. It still sounds fresh and continues to reward listeners that are willing to discover and expand what they thought a band should sound like. Those that were able to experience this album right when it came out started their obsession with Radiohead, and they have continued to make lasting music.  Shut up and just listen, it's rare now a days to space out into a full album. Enjoy

Kanye's Morning

Kanye is dropping his new track featuring his Label's artist... Good vibe, simple beat, nice ragga feeling too.... check out The New Morning

Frank Ocean's Pyramids

Frank Ocean has proved he is beyond just RnB, he took his style to new heights with Pyramids and Rich Kids. He give the listener content, substance, and an imaginary story. In Pyramids he paints the picture of a time long passed of Pharaohs and cheetahs, and his musical arrangements then transform the story to the strip club club called the Pyramid with an experimental feel that feels right and deserved. He also paints the story of rich kids who have too much time on their hand, too much money, and parents that don't care. The super rich kids Ocean presents deals with suicidal tendencies, fake friends, and abusing cocaine. Frank Ocean's Channel Orange is a gem among the crap dance music RnB turned into in 2011-12.... Did you catch the Play Station logo sound... check out the full album its worth it, he just needs to lose his off future crew.

Marissa Nadler's ethereal voice

I found an ethereal american voice that sings the soul of hope and pain so natural. Marissa Nadler was under my radar despite having already several full length albums out. She has a voice that seems to draw in emotions that every human has. Marissa Nadler is a siren calling for you to dream, listen, confront your fear and accept them. Her newest album The Sister takes your ears to a place of atmospheric soundscapes.

This Early video of her proves how great and real her voice is live

R'TYZ So. Cal RnB Singer Bringing Back Real RnB with a 2012 Flavor

R'TYZ is a talent that comes along only every few generations. His vocal abilities pay tribute to the classic soul singers of Stevie Wonder, Al Green, and Marvin Gaye to name a few. As well R'TYZ also brings back memories of the legend Michael Jackson where R'TYZ actually covers Billy Jean with great precision and almost exact vocals. In this track "My Nurse" he is bring back RnB of the 90s and giving it a 2012 update with its minimalist beat and lyrics that are trying to call for his nurse to get him his drugs to stop the pain. R'TYZ sounds like he could fit right in with the likes of Neo, Robin Thicke, and Drake. There is a bright future for this young R'TYZ and a breath of fresh air and talent in an age when RnB sounds so much like very european dance music.

Check out My Nurse by R'TYZ above and showing off his MJ talents below remixing Maroon 5's Moves Like Jagger (Voice like Jagger)and R'TYZ showing off his Billie Jean swagger
